This week I had the pleasure to sit down with Don Burton, Producer and Director of the movie "Homeland" which was filmed on location in downtown New Bedford. The short-film premiered this past Sunday at New Bedford's Zeiterion Theater.
This is my third video blog post, the first with a guest. We were having such a good conversation that the video ended up a bit longer than I wished. I thought about breaking it into two posts, but after watching it myself I decided to just post it all at once. For those who don't have the time for the entire video, here is a timeline to help you decide what you want to watch:
0:05 - Introduction
1:00 - Who is Don Burton
1:45 - "Homeland" the movie
4:45 - How Don ends up in Los Angeles
8:15 - Hollywood East - Plymouth Rock Studios
9:25 - BridgeThink.org
12:50 - How about some wine?
16:00 - The bottle in the brown bag...
21:20 - Storing open wine bottles in the fridge
24:18 - Final word

If you are given something simple and have the ability to transform it into something fabulous - In my opinion ... that's art!!
So, congrats to you and Don, both artists in your own way. Looking forward to seeing Homeland. Cheers!

Derek - thanks for the feedback... for sure I'm not in the same "game" as Gary V. - There will never be a QOTD on the Travessia Winery video blog :-)

B&B - I can see your point, but still don't consider myself an artist. You on the contrary... your work is the definition of art.

Marco, trust me...I am very happy that you will never have a QOTD, everything you are doing now is perfect, everyone has there "own thing". Keep up the great work on the blog.
